
Rated the best beach for swimming because of its gently sloping sands and clean waters, this unspoilt West Wight resort is popular with families and locals. The long stretch of sand at Colwell, especially good at low tide, was voted one of the Island’s cleanest beaches and ideal for building sandcastles.
